Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise was an American singer, actress, and a writer. She is most well known for her role as Ginger Grant from the TV series Gilligan's Island. Her stage career began in the 1950s, with Two's Company, a Bettle-Davis musical. Then, she appeared on Broadway for a number of shows until the year 1957, in which Li'l abner was famous at the National Theatre. In the year 1957, she launched her first album of music named It's time to Tina. Louise made her debut on the screen in Hollywood as God's Little Acre, a film that was released in the year 1958. She performed the role of Griselda who was a character from the film. While a student at Lee Strasberg, she attended the Actors Studio New York. In 1964, she signed with CBS and played Ginger Grant. Louise was able to balance her acting career effectively with a variety of roles between Broadway television and Hollywood portraying somber characters as opposed to her image as an attractive model. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1 as Helen Magnus and Sanctuary. But, over the last few years she was also a prominent director on popular TV series like Supernatural as well as The 100. She was birthed in Essex August 28th, 1965. Her family later moved to Toronto to spend her youth. Samantha Carter settled in Vancouver in Canada following her choice to play the lead.
