Hayley orrantia was born in the US. She's primarily an actress, but she's also a songwriter and singer. Her most well-known characters can be Erica Goldberg who stars in The Goldbergs, a comedy TV show. Even though she sings, her primary passion is music. Music, according to her, is the first thing she loves. Her first time playing the instrument at the age of nine. At the age of 12 years old, music was serious enough for her to start training professionally. When she was 13, she started making music. She recorded her debut album in the age of 14. Since then, she has not stopped since then. Orrantia is an American native with Hispanic roots. Although she never lived or was a Spanish speaker in Mexico She is extremely proud of her Hispanic heritage. To keep her heritage alive she's learning Spanish. Additionally, she creates songs using the language. The most famous of these songs is "Hasta Verte," which she composed in Spanish. Orrantia was chosen to be an audition for the first season, which aired in summer 2011. Orrantia's YouTube video was chosen and she received four "yeses", or votes for the judges during the Seattle audition. Originally auditioning as a soloist, she along with three female vocalists were placed in the final auditions during "Hollywood Week". They were eliminated during the fifth week in the Live performance.
