Hayley Orrantia, an American performer, songwriter and actress. Most people know her as Erica Goldberg, from the show 'The Goldbergs' on television. The main focus of her is an actor. When she was nine years old of age, she began dabbling into music. The first time she began to study music professionally when she was 12. Following a few attempts at writing songs, she recorded her album of covers at the age of fourteen. And the rest is history. Orrantia was born in America, but has Hispanic heritage. Although she never lived or spoken Spanish in Mexico She is very proud about her Hispanic heritage. Through studying Spanish and writing songs, she is trying to maintain the spirit of her culture. "Hasta Verte" which is a song with Spanish lyrics that she has recorded, is an example. Orrantia performed for The X Factor during its first season, in summer 2011. Orrantia took home the very first season of The X-Factor when she uploaded a YouTube audition video. The judge gave her four "yes" vote of the judge in the live stage show in Seattle. The first time she auditioned, she was performing as a solo artist, however following "Hollywood Week" the three female performers were added to groups to take part in the auditions. The group was removed from the show in the fifth live week.
